Steven T. Grant
President & CEO
Mr. Grant’s  involvement in the financial industry began in 1976 with Hess Grant and Co. In 1989, he co-founded Williams Capital Markets, an institutional municipal bond firm. In 1996, he joined Clark Capital Management. In 1998, Mr. Grant co-founded Grant Williams LP with several partners.  The firm has had some turnover and changes in business model, but Mr. Grant has remained as President and CEO since inception.  He also acts as the firms Financial and Operations Principal.  Mr. Grant is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, attended the College of Financial Planning and holds the CFP designation.  Mr. Grant holds FINRA licenses 4, 7, 27, 40, 53 and 63.

Bill Widerman
Bond Trader, Partner
Mr. Widerman attended Wittenberg University after high school.  Mr. Widerman has over 35 years experience in the financial industry.  He began his career at A.H. Williams & Company in 1973.  Most recently, he was employed as the Head Trader at Commerce Capital Markets, Inc. from 1998 until 2004.  In 2004, Mr. Widerman entered the partnership of Grant Williams LP.  He is currently working as a Municipal Bond Trader.  Mr. Widerman is also a partner in another registered investment advisor, A. H. Williams & Company, LP.  Mr. Widerman holds FINRA licenses 7, 52 and 53.

Erin Spillane
Bond Trader
Ms. Spillane pursued a career in the financial field after spending several years as a Marketing Specialist with Wheat First Securities, Inc., with a move to the WFS Municipal Bond Department in 1993, where she became a retail trader. She went on to join Bloomberg Financial Markets in Princeton NJ as a Training Specialist for the Analytics Group and Sales Force.  Ms. Spillane returned to the municipal bond business in 1998, joining AH Williams/Commerce Capital Markets, a division of Commerce Bank, specializing in Institutional Sales.  She then made a change to Spear, Leeds & Kellogg/FTN Financial Markets to assist in building a municipal bond department, and is now with Grant Williams, LP in an Institutional Sales & Trading capacity.  Ms. Spillane holds FINRA licenses 7, 63 and 65.

Karen Hornberger
VP, Operations Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the Municipal Bond industry, Ms. Hornberger is responsible for managing trading operations for Grant Williams LP.   She earned her BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Delaware in 1985 and began her career at Tucker Anthony in Philadelphia on the Municipal Bond trading desk.   Ms. Hornberger gained new issue market experience assisting the underwriters at Blunt, Ellis & Loewi in Chicago from 1988 until 1990.  From 1990 until 2005, she worked as a municipal bond broker’s broker for various firms, including JF Hartfield & Co.  Since joining Grant Williams in 2005, Ms. Hornberger has acted as the primary liaison to our clearing agent, First Southwest Company and currently handles all operations and clearing issues for our traders and registered representatives.  A Municipal Securities Principal, she holds FINRA licenses 7, 63 and 53.
